"Better Not Tell Her" is a song written and performed by American singer-songwriter #CarlySimon, and produced by #FrankFilipetti and #PaulSamwellSmith. The opening track from Simon's 15th studio album, #HaveYouSeenMeLately (1990), the song also served as the album's lead single. A #salsa-infused track, the song features a Spanish guitar solo by #JayBerliner. #EntertainmentWeekly called it a "mildly bittersweet love song" that sounds "firm, tender.

I wrote this article many years ago when I was still living in Houston, TX and dancing several nights a week with my friends. Mary Frometa was my favorite live entertainer, although they had other great artists performing in the clubs then, too.

We mostly danced to Salsa and Cha Cha music, but we also enjoying dancing Bachata, occasional Cumbia, and sometimes Merengue.

I still laugh when I read this article. Everything in it happened exactly as I described. It was one of the most bizarre evenings of my dancing career.
