Yes: respond to #USA breach of trade deals (imposition of import tarriffs), by revoking #Monopoly #Patent and #Copyright for #USA corporations, to the benefit of one's own country.
#IntellectualTheft (monopolies on culture) keeps medicine from the poor, keeps education from the needy, keeps science from those who will benefit. Now the trade deals are violated, no need to continue protecting USA #Corporation #rentier profits.
This is a great idea, I would love to see #Australia do this also.

Would you explain a bit to someone coming late to your commentary, or give me some sources to understand? I mean, I know the meaning of mourning, but you're using it in a specific context, or so I infer.

Aber selbst gebildete, kluge, humorvolle Accounts wie @mina reflektieren, dass #Rentierstaatstheorie zu #Rentier bzw. #Huftier assoziiert, noch bevor die #Vernunft da rankommt…

My personal #Firefly | #Serenity anecdote:
had never heard of it before
signed up for #Netflix back in #DVD days, right before they began experimenting with #Streaming
watched the movie, was kind of … whelmed … and bounced off
…
years later, discovered and binged #Firefly; loved it so much I wanted more; discovered it was cancelled after 1 season … but discovered a nice sendoff movie called #Serenity
found it on #TiVo or the crappy #Microsoft not TiVo DVR; or probably on iTunes where I bought movies outright instead of #rentier capitalism of Streaming (we'd cancelled #Netflix after leaving the same DVDs on top of the TV without watching or returning for 6 months)
watched #Serenity, realized eventually I'd already watched it, but only remembered each scene as I watched it (like, continuous Deja Vu)
was crying by the end of the movie; I loved it; the series made me fall in #Love with the characters, so the movie on 2nd watch I had emotional investment and it was lovely

It's really the opposite of #rentier capitalism, surely: it is the principle that as much of the rent of the community as possible should flow to all equally rather and not be collected by the owners of capital.
As we wait for today's #inflation figures, we can expect #JeremyHunt & the #BankofEngland to tell us over the next few days, even if as expected the rate of inflation has started to decline, that #interestrates policy & Hunt's effective fiscal tightening (#austerity by another name) will need to continue as they are 'a price with paying' to push inflation down...
Of course, this is a price being paid by you & me, not Rishi, Jeremy & their chums... this is government for the #rentier elite!
