I apologise for laughing… but there is no way these are his words. Oh, he did speak them in the House tonight, but they were not his words.. I seriously doubt #PotatoHead could offer a good explanation of the meaning of ‘asymmetric capability’ for use against China (the obvious target here).

Also, he is talking here about Tier two of #AUKUS with ne’er a mention of ‘phantom’ SSNs.

I expect we'll hear lots of similar 'false' claims from #PotatoHead over the next month or so... that's what he does best... make things up to look better than Labor and say it often enough that the diehard #LNP crowd will believe it. (ALso know as #Bannon 's Gambit - spread enough shit and some will stick)

Ahhh... I pine for truth in politics. It's one thing to 'cherry pick' but it's another to outright lie like a #trumpist.

After shredding #PotatoHead ‘s performance as an ‘alternative PM’, Joe Dyer, in The Shot, concludes his piece with a logical assertion:

“Australia isn’t the US and a general election is no referendum. When called to demonstrate his credentials as an alternative Prime Minister, Dutton will need more than fanboy copycatting, cynical posturing and the flimsiest of policy fig-leaves.”

I couldn’t agree more. Here is hoping the #AustralianElectorate see it that way as well.
