Here's my radio "first aid" kit https://youtube.com/shorts/OFEBYbusXvM?feature=share
Admittedly the "first aid" is really just remedying human error.

Just in time for Spring! Wire insulators for portable antennas! These make a great connection point for rope or anchors.

The OMs on QRZ.com said this wouldn't work!

Need to start organizing my thoughts on field day into a coherent narrative, but off the cuff: band conditions were harsh.
I think that was the most difficult #SOTA activation I've done since learning Morse.
New holographic stickers to throw in with orders. #HamRadio #portableops #summitsontheair #sota #stickers
Activated Catalina Island today. East Peak Benchmark. 7.3mi and 1800' round trip hike. Boring road hike, but good views.
Got lots of QSOs on the mainland including @W9SSN down in San Diego (on 2m fm and 20m cw).
Quick activation as I was with two non-hams and it was a long hike.
Did some touristy SoCal #sota today. Activated w6/ct-037 after a jaunt to the Hollywood sign.
Lots of 2m contacts, some with hams I've only communicated with over morse code.
Did a little HF and got a s2s on 40m and some good signals from Oregon and Washington ops. Usually only get those guys on 40m or 2m. Neat to get a rare other band
Thanks for the trip reports @AA6XA
Beautiful day playing radio from Mt Bachelor (W7O/CM-005). 45 QSOS, 10 S2S, 35 CW QSOs. My "well I'll hop on 15m real quick before I qrt" ended up being 15 QSOs over 20 minutes. #summitsontheair #sota #HamRadio #portableops
