Mage and OpenBlade face a big MATA_Bot with a big gun.

Bot: "Did you seriously bring a sword to a gunfight?"

Mage gets ready to fight, but OpenBlade interrupts -

OpenBlade: "'A SWORD?!'"

Mage to OpenBlade: "..by Theo, come on, not now..."

OpenBlade to Mage: "Don't you dare touch that volume slider!"

Bot: "um.. what's happening?"

OpenBlade, angrily, to MATA_Bot: "Now listen very carefully you heap of semi-sentient mass produced pile of MATA garbage. I am not a 'sword'. I am a fully-sentient MilTek developed Lisp Machine capable of immediate combat evaluation and threat assessment. I was created by the masters of the ancient tech industry and educated by the most reputable warfare experts and taught to know things you couldn't even dream of attempting to imagine!"

Bot: "...I'm just gonna go..."

The MATA_Bot leaves.

Mage, surprised, but glad she didn't have to fight: "I can't believe it worked..."

OpenBlade: "We should play poker sometimes."

Having been released from the guardianship of the #technomage, the #Fosschild (all grown up now) crosses the liquid desert of Analog Nowhere and reaches the Merveilles Town.

Now this is a spin-off!

Under starlight, Fosschild, carrying a laptop in their hand and a torso of the Pentium M-man on their back, reach the shores of a new land.

Techno-Mage's signature shoes hang from the child's backpack and there is OpenBlade attached to their belt.

A penguin in goggles stands next to the child.

All three are illuminated by the green light of the Merveilles Town, coming from off screen.
