Damn. If you got the watch perform Gild The Lily on 1/24/24 Ball Arena in Denver. 2nd set. Such a great song. He writes great songs period, not just great bluegrass songs, just great songs. This is basically a 60s era hippie tune he composed here and it's just fabulous.

Yo, if you haven't seen these guys or never heard of them and you got the app, Big Something did a free show at the Ardmore Music Hall. Scroll the video to the beginning of the second set at 2:44 and watch them do Megalodon then Bob & Weave. It's a good intro to the band.

It looks like my crew was right in front of Peter last night, as usual, wearing lighted headbands. Always a treat to watch my friends getting down on the stream. Have another good show tonight y'all!

really great little run in ft.collins and denver the last couple nights. am excited to hear the two nights prior in santa fe and buena vista once they hit . the band played one long set, about 100-120 minutes, and then 20-35 minutes of an encore, each of the nights i saw them, and definitely dished out a satisfying number of jams. after a long festival season of tight play and lots of exposure, we’re back, baby!

Hard to believe I just saw and Green Day earlier this week and then work, work, work, Deadfest concert, work. Man, I'm pooped. Can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to sitting on my ass tonight to watch and Goose on . Ooh look, the play in a few minutes. Appreciation post. I'm a very lucky man.
Work hard. Play hard.

One of my favorite albums of all time is by I'm listening to the studio outtakes and stuff on right now. It sounds so clean and crisp. It's obviously been remastered and cleaned up. No tape hiss. No album pops. To me, it's missing the dirt and grit and grunge that makes that album great. There's a rawness that now seems to be missing. The Stooges shouldn't sound... clean. Just my stupid opinion.
