Moss love concrete. And today on the way to a supervision meeting I couldn't resist taking pictures of moss covered with snow. It's great to go to meetings with so much reserve that I can stop and admire the bits of nature in the city.

Cepaea nemoralis
They are small snails, with very variable shell colour. Sometimes they have distinctive dark stripes, but this one has a shell the basic colour of honey. But if you enlarge the photo, you can see the stripes. That's how you can tell this species from a young garden snail, for example.
