I am a mathematics teacher currently teaching the IGCSE (Cambridge) and (IBDP) International Baccalaureate Diploma Program curricula.

I came to teaching late, after my second child was born, and my first training was as a #Montessori directress. I have taught from kindergarten to university level, and I think I'm now settled with the 11-18 age range.

I work longer hours for less pay as a teacher than I did as a senior software developer. If you think teaching is easy, you're probably not doing a very good job. (Like parenting!)

I try to keep this account to mathematics, experimental sciences, and education. (I don't always succeed - pretty nature pictures WILL be boosted).

I have three cats who I love dearly and am trying to befriend the local crow population by giving them walnuts and peanuts everyday.

For #introductions, or rather re-introduction, I'm a polyglot, trying to seek cognitive dissonance, go deeper into understanding the problem when somebody asks me to just implement the bleddy solution.
