KrisIt's not often i find a crochet stitch where i love both the front and back equally 👀 this is half-double crochet in two back loops. The front gives sort of a stripey or twisted rope feel, while the back becomes an even fabric with an almost hexagonal structure. I'm gonna retry it with a larger hook to see if i can open up the hexagons and make them more visible. To be continued!<br> <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/crochet?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#crochet</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/fibreart?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#fibreart</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/handmade?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#handmade</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/crafting?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#crafting</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/fabric?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#fabric</a> <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/mohair?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#mohair</a>

Maya<p>My fourth cowl this February. I was given mohair/silk yarns from my knitting group, so I've been knitting these cowls. I'm hoping to finish this and donate all four together next week 😉 </p><p><a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/tags/cowl" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>cowl</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/tags/mohair" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mohair</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/tags/silk" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>silk</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.sdf.org/tags/knitting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>knitting</span></a></p>

My faves are Shibui Knits' Silk Cloud 400 yds and Tweed Silk Cloud 190 yds. It's strong w/delicate haze, amazing palette. Only problem is company is closing :-( so snap it up now.</p><p>#2 is Rowan's Kidsilk Haze. WEBS sells it for a good price in 60 colors! Hope that's helpful. 🧶💕</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/knitting" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>knitting</span></a><br><a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/fiberarts" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>fiberarts</span></a><br><a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/mohair" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>mohair</span></a></p><p><a href="https://shibuiknits.com/products/silk-cloud" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">shibuiknits.com/products/silk-</span><span class="invisible">cloud</span></a></p>
