My then boyfriend (now husband) took this pic of me during a summer holiday in Belle Île, Brittany. I distinctly remember having to walk through thorny bushes to get to this gorgeous spot. So worth it for the magnificent view!

Toronto can be beautiful if you are lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time.

Golden hour ferns, Mattatuck Trail, Fall Mountain, Plymouth, Connecticut. September 9, 2019, 6:21 PM.

It is evening in a forest of leafy hardwoods carpeted by lush ferns. The late day sun is low in the pale blue sky, shining directly towards us through all this greenery. Mingled with the deepening shadows, warm golden toned sunshine is backlighting swaths of foliage and glistening off patches of ferns.
