as I predicted the first batch was terrible, because I forgot how this roaster worked until the roast was almost completed--you're supposed to start with the fan way up and the heat down a bit, run it for a couple minutes that way, and then drop the fan and blast the heat for the rest of the time
the second attempt was passable but it felt a little flat, like the middle was missing from it; might be able to rescue this roast by changing how I brew it?
