Along with so many other otherwise well-educated #EnergyTwitter professionals fail to see that ELoon's sole purpose of buying up the public square was to make it so that there's two side to the "truth" nor that being profiled in the Wall Street Journal during the same week they published an article written by Steve Milloy is part of that false equivalency the far-right is pushing

It's of course up to them but staying there only props up the worst of it imo.

I so wish that #EnergyTwitter would migrate to #MastodonEnergy because of the discussion going on around Sammy Roth's nice new article in the @latimes on rooftop solar in relation to solar farms.

Anyways, my 2 cents is that building out our distribution grid requires the political will to combat entrenched and powerful forces along with a lot of NIMBYism which is impacting the solar farm industry significantly too. So, I like reducing demand on the grid by adding #Solar and #Batteries at POU.

Thanks to @adam_tooze (here adamtooze.substack.com/p/chart) for surfacing this epic analysis of 117 years of shifts in electricity efficiency, demand, uses, carbon impact and so much more. Thank goodness for #openaccess insights. Has #energytwitter dug deep?
