As 2023 comes to a close I'm making up my mind about video game developers. After being taken for a ride by Blizzard with Diablo 4, I'm no longer going to support them or Bethesda any longer.
I wanted to play Starfield, but you don't have to be in a burning house to know it's on fire.
Blizzard & Bethesda are as dead as Maxis. They exist as a cash cow, milking nostalgia with products that are obsolete.
If you didn't already know, StarCraft II is free to play. Although a Blizzard account is required.
There is just something cathartic about having wave after wave of Terran Marines destroy a Protoss base.

Seems like lots of issues getting #Lutris to correctly install #BattleNet and get #StarCraft2 working repeatedly on #LinuxMint and #Ubuntu 22. Anyone do exactly that?
I was able to "install" it, install the game, run it... But the installation threw errors, and after exiting I couldn't relaunch BattleNet. Ugh.
