You can’t just go back to that version of yourself (the pre-burnout self, the one who had energy, and could do all of the things, and be a workaholic, or change the world, or whatever it was).
That version of yourself wasn’t living in a healthy way, it was ignoring your own needs.
I'm so autistic I just worked out I would like more touch after two years without a partner by imagining a switch where I can have somebody nice hold me and that seemed nice.

In about 2000 my friend and his brother told me Adamski used to live on the council estate I lived on. I just listened to one of his songs so looked him up. It seems exceptionally unlikely. I never properly believed this, but at the time, kind of did.

I went to visit someone in hospital today, and before I went I had to do a lot of planning. I checked my route, worked out carefully where I could park and I was still nervous walking up to the building. I ended up having a migraine later on, probably from the stress of that but also maybe walking around on a hot day.
