Playing a bit with the #behringer #crave tonight. Created a sequence, hit play, then engaged the arpeggiator and patched the lfo out to the play/stop input. Makes for an interesting back and forth between the arp sequence and the notes from the sequencer. Depending on the lfo speed you get all kinds of polyrhythms and effects. Sequencer speed + lfo speed adjust for even weirder patterns.
Also controlling mix with lfo, adding noise to the mix for percussions

The Yamaha PSS-110. Not the first PortaSound, as it was introduced in 1984 (the PS-1 in 1980), but an early model with an endearing look, and in the first wave of PSS models. Very simple miniature key music keyboard, with unusual chorus effect and arpeggiator [edit: wrong, no arp, no chorus]. Depeche Mode used one.

Anybody played this model? Or another PortaSound maybe?
