Shouldn't leave my phone out when drinking, most parts were all good but sometimes people like to put things up that are in my company. Oh well, hope you are all having a great day and not slaving too hard for some ungreatful business or boss.
It seems pretty obvious now that these ads for jobs are literally just data mining so they can sell your data. They don’t have open jobs, they’re just capturing your likeness to use in perpetuity however they choose. You cannot sue for defamation even if they make a commercial out of your likeness talking about anal leakage.
I’m kind of curious about what they make you say in the “video screen”.
the #vibe I bring to the office
"What’s new, at least to the recent pandemic age of hybrid working, is the extent to which workers can now be tracked inside office buildings. Cracked Labs published a frankly terrifying 25-page case study report in November 2024 showing how systems of wireless networking, motion sensors, and Bluetooth beacons, whether intentionally or as a byproduct of their capabilities, can provide “behavioral monitoring and profiling” in office settings.
The project breaks the tech down into two categories: The first is technology that tracks desk presence and room occupancy, and the second monitors the indoor location, movement, and behavior of the people working inside the building."
Happy Red Books Day to all who celebrate! Red Books Day celebrate lefty books and thought on the anniversary of the Communist Manifesto. However, a better book is Paul Lafargue's The Right To Be Lazy, an attack on the idea that wage labor is desirable.##antiwork #redBooksDay
