Last week thousands of Brad Bradford's city council constituents were without water and Bradford was invisible. Too busy campaigning for mayor.
He could have played local "hero". Instead he played local "zero".

It has been interesting watching Brad Bradford's campaign for #Toronto mayor self-destruct. Earlier polls had him at over 10% at times. Newer polls show him with less than 5% support.
He will most likely do very poorly even in his "home" city council ward of Beaches-East York. It has been so bad that he will not likely be re-elected to city council in 2026. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if he steps down.

Final polls have been released. Here's the full picture. Every poll shows that the right wing is worried, and is ditching their preferred candidates for Bailão to try to defeat Chow. This means Bailão is going to owe them a lot of favours if she wins! The right wing will not let her do the progressive stuff she has been talking about, they'll force her into status quo.

Chiara's message to #Toronto voters on Monday:
"PS: On Monday, don’t vote for a mayor who wants to remove cycling infrastructure and de-prioritize the safety of vulnerable road users. Vote for a mayor who’s going to bring road safety to YSW and the rest of the city because we deserve it - we always have."
Sad to hear that York South Weston tenant activist Chiara Padovani was hit by a pickup truck near Weston Road & Lawrence on Monday while riding her bike to coach a kid's soccer team. She's okay, but it will take awhile for her to recover and be able to walk again.

Reminder: Mayoral candidate Mark Saunders boasted he could fill #Toronto's $1.5 BILLION budget hole by simply cutting.. bike lanes... & the City's IT department. 
Fun Fact: Mark Saunders is on the board of directors at Woodbine, home of Canada's newest $1 billion dollar casino, which also happens to be located in Doug Ford's riding.
Saunders also continues to be paid $171,500/year by the Doug Ford #conservative gov’t to ‘advise’ them on the redevelopment of #OntarioPlace; soon to be home to a private waterpark/spa, owned by an Austrian corporation, Therme.

"Only in Toronto can a mayor wreck the city for 8 years, carry on an affair with a staffer for 2 of them, run for re-election assuming it won't be found out, resign when it is, refuse to answer questions about it, and STILL feel entitled to endorse a candidate to replace them."
FYI: Ana Bailão ran the 2022 election campaign for disgraced mayor John Tory and very likely knew about his affair with the young City Hall staffer...
Together they are costing the city $15 million+ to rerun this election.

This is disappointing to read. Josh Matlow joining the anti-tax brigade against Olivia Chow:
