"Judge #Cannon has made similarly unusual decisions, often showing a willingness to grant a serious audience to some of the former president’s most far-fetched defense claims.

...And that has made it all but certain that the case will not reach a jury until well after the election in November — one of #Trump ’s overarching legal and #political objectives."

“[Tfg] and his MAGA media minions were salivating over the prospect of his conviction. … They were convinced that it would result in some sort of alternative universe backlash and that his popularity would skyrocket.”

Nope.

A 51% majority] think the jury reached the 'right verdict' than think the verdict was 'wrong' (30%). Likewise, more Americans than ever (54%) now believe Trump committed the crime for which he was on trial.

You know that obvious hoax that Fox ran about a juror in the Trump case? That'll turn into a new RW attack, "Maybe something IS hinky there. We need to dox all the jurors, just to be sure."

We need to get ahead of that crap. Time to run stories of people who been arrested & convicted for doxxing & threatening others, because it takes 12-27 months to do these cases.

We need some deterrence for the New York juror threats & doxxing NOW!!!

There's an alleged scandal that the NYC Trump criminal trial suffered a leak from the jurors, but the allegation comes from someone that calls himself "a professional shit poster" in his Facebook profile.

That's some weak shit there.

Don't put that kind of crap in your Facebook profile.

Put it in your LinkedIn profile where it belongs, coward.

Judge Cannon is kicking the can down the road as long as she can and beyond the election. “This is clearly palpable bias on her part.”

“If she is that ignorant of how to handle these matters, then she doesn’t belong on the bench. If she’s doing it because she’s lazy, then she doesn’t belong on the bench. If she’s doing it just to delay, then she doesn’t belong on the bench.”

Donald Trump became the first convicted felon former U.S. president last week.

@damemagazine’s Andrea Grimes wrote about the media’s shortcomings in covering Trump and the things he does. “His continued success is built on the media’s terror at the prospect of being accused of ‘bias’ if it dares describe his words and actions in plain language,” she writes.

Dame Magazine - · Twelve NY Jurors Did What the Media Won’t - Dame MagazineWhen a New York City jury handed down 34 consecutive guilty verdicts against Donald Trump in his hush money trial yesterday, I knew I had to do two things quickly. First, I poured myself a celebratory bourbon, even if it was only just after 4 p.m. here in Texas. And second, I hopped back into

"Georgia's Court of Appeals paused court proceedings Wednesday in former President Trump's state 2020 election subversion case while it reviews appeals, including whether Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis can stay on the case."

@AxiosNews reports: "The pause in proceedings makes it unlikely that the Georgia case goes to trial before the November election."
