Findings on #BirdFlu transmission vanished minutes after they appeared. The #Census Bureau’s public repository went offline, then returned w/o certain directories of geographic info. The #DOJ expunged the #Jan6th #insurrection from its site, & whitehouse.gov took down an explainer page about the #Constitution.

Trump is the third US president to pardon insurrectionists. Pardons by the previous two - Andrew Johnson in 1868 and Ulysses S. Grant in 1873 - were followed by years of violent racism and the rise of the KKK.

Speaking in support of the #censure of Representative Al Green, Rep Dan Newhouse said "We cannot ignore the wilful disruption intended to stop a proceeding". To his credit, Rep. Newhouse did vote to #impeach President Trump for inciting an #insurrection back in 2021, but 197 house members and 43 senators voted to ignore Pres. Trump's wilful disruption of the proceeding that ratified Biden's election win.
Is it any wonder that people have so little #trust in politicians?

After one month in office, #EdMartin appears to be following through, taking actions that have alarmed lawyers inside & outside his office who say he’s leveraging the power of the #DOJ against political opponents & intimidating career prosecutors seen as insufficiently #loyal to #Trump. At the announcement, Proud Boys leader #EnriqueTarrio was arrested by #CapitolPolice for his interaction with a protester.
