Went w/ integrated graphics for the time being & it is more than I need. Does #3dprinting slicing & drawing just fine, #virtualization just fine, #ffmpeg & the little bit of video editing I do. Blows the old i7-6700 w/ 16GB out of the water!
From my perspective, the #RyzenAI HX 390 MAX series has a very bad value proposition over $1,000.
- For #Gaming, you have RTX 4060M **LAPTOPS** at $800 with a decent CPU.
- For #AI, you can make a good PC for $1,500.
- For battery life, there is a thing called a MacBook.
That's probably why they're not being pushed to the market so hard. Pricing wise, it doesn't make sense.

Ein Bekannter fragt mich um Hilfe, weil sein PC-Build nicht funktioniert: #Asus #Tuf Gaming B650 plus mit #Ryzen 5 7500f und 4x #Kingston #Fury 16 GB Riegel. Sollte alles kompatibel sein, aber der PC regt sich nicht, nur die gelbe RAM-Warn-LED leuchtet.
Ich hab' von dem hochgezüchteten #Gaming-Zeugs keine Ahnung. Hat jemand ne Idee?

Side note: since when could silicon transistors switch that fast?? I remember #Intel hitting a brick wall on clock speed back in the #Pentium 4 days and being unable to do better than ~3GHz. Now, all of a sudden, here's an #AMD #Ryzen doing 5GHz like it's no big deal. Must've been some kind of breakthrough at some point.

@niko @privateger also as @fuchsiii and anyone else doing #DDR5 on #AM5 can tell, getting decent speeds amd stability is tricky with it...
- Personally I find it infuriating that #Ryzen 7xxx can't do >64GB @ >4800MT/s, mich less 6000MT/s...
But I guess I'm spoiled with high-end Server & Workstation platforms...
