Polypores’ freewheeling and unique approach takes a deep and psychotropic leap - dense and detailed textures swirl in the ether, melodies grow and branch across the spectrum like fractals

Mossy maze polypore (𝘊𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘢 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘳) from the Black River Trail, March 5th of last year.
It's hard to believe, after this winter of being continually battered with sub-zero temperatures and snow piling up above my waist, that last year early March was warm enough to hike with no snow on the ground.
Found 2 #polypores on one tree. I couldn't get closer to them, safely by myself & just took mini vid from the edge of #nature trail.
The one on the right was quite large - about the size of my head. The one on the left was about a fist & half sized.
