I can't tell easily, but are the maple leaves at least *shaped* like Canadian maple leaves, as opposed to our polymer banknotes which depict NORWEGIAN maple leaves?

(Sorry you have such an ugly carpet in the Senate. From photos, it doesn't look so terrible, but I can imagine things are rather different up close and in person! )

@Blort very important issue. Saving mature trees is critical yet home owners towns and states cut down mature #trees that can otherwise regenerate when properly managed by #arborists. Not enough time and #education is focused on preserving mature trees which maintain a huge network of underground life and connectivity within the earth, surrounding plants and #wildlife.
