They're problems that the respective populations have Democratically chosen. They're both problems that have the overwhelming support of those populations.

The question then becomes what is the distribution of those who are at the intersection because of fear or ideology.

As for the set #Palestinians minus #Hamas, remember that there is a set of #Israelis minus #Likud too.

#Israel is not #Judaism and criticism of Israel isn't #antisemitic. By dishonestly conflating the two, lawmakers are diluting the meaning and significance of #antisemitism, and providing the nation of Israel (and its current #Likud government) with special protections. Bibi would love to be able to hide behind the stigma of antisemitism, and shield himself against legitimate criticism by redefining language, but we should forcefully reject this switcheroo.
