RE
on too early for me. I don’t start watching til later...

All of the #MSNBC shows are available as AUDIO, we can listen anytime we want, by using a #podcastapp or a #podcastservice

I use the #FOSS Android app, #AntennaPod but you know, there is that #learningcurve ☹️ with the settings and the adding the shows to it.

Listening with bluetooth earbuds when shopping, walking, driving, #timeshift is the way

Further #Autism #LanguageAbleism often express no understanding of just how #LearningDisorders #FWakeLearning / #UnderstandingAbleism

To be so dismissive in using social media to block you and dehumanize you with their machine / cloud computing machines. It seems they have learned NOTHING about autism people and #ThinkingSystems / #AssociativeThinking of autism.

Social media very ego driven and reactionary and don't think learning / teaching / education #LearningCurve is real

Short day at the office today. And by office I mean the cabin. -27C, and it became apparent that that is too cold for the inverter which cycled on and off. And the heater couldn’t get past pre-heat because of the power going off. So with that, and the battery issue, my solution is to disconnect the inverter from the panel and directly connect the generator feed. #CabinLife #LearningCurve

My 2 cents: The real value of learning skills (rather than just learning how to delegate them) is only fully realized once the option for delegation is removed again, be it for economical, sociopolitical, environmental or any other reason... This applies to delegation to other humans and/or AI alike!

A culture of learning new skills (incl. learning to learn!) is generative, i.e. it fosters/amplifies multiple outcomes and independence.

A culture delegation is one of generating/amplifying dependencies, often for only short term gains.

Both kinds are recursive in nature... but with their recursive properties oriented in opposite directions.

"My whole career in education has been devoted to finding kinds of work that will harness the passion of the learner to the hard work needed to master difficult material and acquire habits of self-discipline. But it is not easy to find the right language to explain how I think I am different from the "touchy feely ... make it fun make it easy" approaches to education." — Seymour Papert
