Zak pulled up behind a morose-looking guy sitting beside a car on the edge of the road.

"Got a flat?" Zak asked. And then, smirking, "Don't know how to change a tire?"

"I know how, but something's wrong with the #lug nuts--they won't come out."

"It'll be because they're antitheft," Zak said. "You need a special tool." The guy's face fell even further.

"But there's videos that show you how to get around that." Zak showed him one and was rewarded with a grateful smile.

Somewhere in the Barrens, Joseph assessed his situation.
Flat tire. Lug nuts stripped from changing that wheel all the time.
Joseph also overpacked. Even with the jeep, there was a lot to #lug around.
Joseph's tattoo circuits pulsed and he took the call, "Ready?" It was Kevin.
"No." He kicked the tire. "Jeep's stuck. Me too. Sending GPS data."
"Cool." Beat. "How did Yael take the news?"
A familiar voice chirped "Hi Kevin~"
"Ah jeez." Everyone heard Kevin's eyes roll. "Hey Yael."
