Once again, it's time for my weekly #SundayShowdown (live blogging the top 4 commercial broadcast news shows: MSNBC, #FoxnewsSunday, #MeetTheRepublicans, and ABC's #ThisWeek.

My special task this morning: Be on the lookout for as many examples of #CreepingFascism as I can find.

#Republicans on #FoxnewsSunday are absolutely *gleeful* that #Democrats are apoplectic over T**** & #Musk "going through and eliminating waste fraud & abuse thru #DOGE" (lie.)

They actually said, "The American people would actually WELCOME a 3rd #Impeachment of President T**** b/c it would finally show #Democrats that the law & the people are on his side." #JFC #Provocateurs #CriminalPresidency

The #FoxnewsSunday panel this morning concern-trolled their dismay that "so many young people are showing support for the #UnitedHealthcare #CEO killer."

They complained about a "glorification of violence" and my first thought was "#Jan6" and how they just elected a crude, foul-mouthed, criminal reprobate president of the United States.

Kids see/hear that and are being taught that's how you get things done. So don't whine about any "decline in morality" that YOU promoted for the past 9 years.

NOTE TO REP #STEFANIK:

If you don't like being called #Nazis, STOP ACTING LIKE NAZIS.

When your leader paraphrases #Hitler and says he'll be a #DictatorOnDayOne, you are acting like Nazis.

When ACTUAL flag-waving Nazis & #WhiteSupremacists are supporting your candidate, THERE'S A REASON. #FnS #FoxnewsSunday

#FnS #FoxnewsSunday host Shannon Breeme implied #Harris was hypocritical for criticizing #TheOrangeMenace for trashing #America, only to then trash T**** by calling him a #fascist.

Note to FnS:

TRUMP IS NOT THE UNITED STATES.

Criticizing T**** is NOT the same as him criticizing THE ENTIRE COUNTRY. #GarbageCan

#FnS #FoxnewsSunday just posted these numbers showing a "dramatic" increase in "Favorability" of T**** & #Vance, and a decline in favorability for #Harris & #Walz.

But note the figures I outlined...

THE REASON T**** & #VANCE's numbers show a dramatic rise is b/c they STARTED OUT SO BAD (and STILL underwater) and had nowhere to go but up. #LyingWithPolls

Stories like this only perpetuate the myth and stoke violence toward #immigrants.

MEANWHILE, you ignore the VERY REAL #FakeElectors scandal where #Republicans tried to nullify the votes of ENTIRE STATES in order to steal the #election for T****.

HERE IS A PRIME EXAMPLE of The Right praying on their viewer's ignorance:

Gov #Walz was on #FnS again this #Sunday morning and asked him to respond to a RW columnist who called him a "#Socialist". They put up the "Dictionary definition" of Socialist WITHOUT CONTEXT and asked Walz if this is what he supports.

Walz did better than expected by pointing out how things like "public roads are Socialism", but the fact is #FoxnewsSunday was preying on the reactionary #fear of their audience.

HEADS UP. Today's latest #GOP freakout:

A report by #TX Rep. Tony Gonzales finds there are "over 13,000 people who committed murder in other countries 'roaming the streets of America'."

Now, ask yourself: "How do we know these exact numbers?"

BECAUSE MOST OF THEM ARE IN CUSTODY (note: "On ICE docket") *NOT* "roaming the streets". And the majority of them entered during the TRUMP Administration. #FnS #FoxnewsSunday

So far, neither #FoxnewsSunday nor #MeetThePress (and now, not #ThisWeek either) had anything to say about #BillClinton's observation that: "Of the 51Million jobs created since post-Cold War (1989), 50M of them were created under Democratic Administrations."

A LITTLE SCHIZOPHRENIC.

After opening with #RFKJr defending his decision to endorse #TheOrangeMenace by him calling #Democrats "warmongers", #FoxnewsSunday ends promoting a new book from one of their "reporters" that criticizes the #Biden Admin for getting #Netanyahu to call off a planned aerial strike 4 days after the #Oct7 attack on #Israel.

Even #FoxnewsSunday is wondering why #RFKJr & #TheOrangeMenace are now so Buddy-Buddy?

#FoxnewsSunday is interviewing #RFKJr. One subject he brings up is #pollution & the #environment creating illness and shortening the lives of our children.

So NATURALLY, he endorses the guy who legalized TOXIC COAL ASH DUMPING in our rivers & streams. #TooStupidForPolitics

CORRECTION:

#FoxnewsSunday opened this morning announcing "the government actually created ONE MILLION FEWER JOBS than previously reported."

Then, when the topic came up, they played the clip of #Biden announcing his Admin has created "16 MILLION new jobs" followed by the BLS correction adjusting that number down by 818K jobs over the past 3-1/2 years.

So instead of 16M new jobs, Biden only created 15.2M. #Harris

I had to shut off #FoxnewsSunday this morning (I live blog the network Sunday Shows every week.) They had on #TraitorTom (Sen Tom Cotton) again to attack #Harris.

When he started to claim she "had to read from notes" her reasons for "defending #Gaza and turning on our ally #Israel", I couldn't take it anymore.

From the #Misogynist suggestion "she's so dumb she had to read from notes" claim (which wasn't true) to the lies about her "turning on Israel" going unchallenged, it was just too much.
