Missed this much earlier today, but (as you might imagine) FedEx had delays today. (Friday)

Which really, really sucks if you are getting frozen food on a Friday (speaking from experience in the past)... and they delay it until a Monday.

We left some things at a hotel recently. They said they'd ship them to us but it would be $41. A bit steep but probably cheaper than buying new. The package was delivered last week and today we woke up to a notice from FedEx that the actual charge was $181 and they had deducted that amount from our credit card. I can't call FedEx because without an account number, their phone tree just hangs up on you and their virtual assistant is useless. I don't ship but if you do, avoid FedEx. #fedex #scam

Do I know, or do you know, someone in the USA who is an #Importer of #Alcohol and works with #FedEx and happens to already have in place a #Continuous #Bond that might be willing to work with us? Our current importer seems to have ghosted and vanished without renewing their bond. It is disappointing for customers and us when we have to get orders returned back to us. Volumes are small (as are values, relatively speaking). Please boost for effect. Thanks!

Okay, so … Framework & FedEx _delivered_ my new laptop, from Taiwan, before large German online electronics retailer notebooksbilliger.de managed to even _ship_ the RAM and storage that I've ordered simultaneously.

It took less than 60 hours from submitting the order, or less than 44 hours from when Framework sent me a shipping confirmation.

And, mind you, I've ordered this thing on December 30, not in an ordinary week.

Does this look like a fucking mailroom? It's outside, 2 miles from my house, at the intersection of another road.

I'm on hold with #FedEx to complain and nip this behavior in the bud. FedEx has gotten a case of lazybones and I don't see why I or any of my neighbors need to worry about packages left out in the open, often overnight, when they should be delivering to our homes.

Ok #FedEx, thanks for the advance notice.

Oh, and in light of recent issues with FedEx refusing to leave a parcel, even though not signature required, this time they had a sign saying "we are on the way" but dumped the parcel and ran before we could get to the door!

And for even more fun, it is alcohol, for which the likes of Amazon would demand to see ID!

Update: At 02:51 today (11th) they told me it has been delivered (which it was) 11:22 on 10th.
