#FF7R is a frustrating kind of good. Very much a 8/10 sort of situation if numbers were used properly. When it's good, it's great, when Barret is talking, it's perfect. But there are a lot of inbetweens, mostly again the open world stuff, where it's just dumb.

The difficulty curve is a bit odd. They definitely compressed the top/bottom stats so you're not just stomping every enemy, but...that does take some of the Vibe out. Combat is...ok, better than expected. Not perfect.

I'm gonna need the English VO and localization directors for #FF7R to be placed in charge of all English #anime #dubs. All of them.

They got a set of performances out of these actors that is better than 95% of English anime dubs and it's not even close.

Give me more villains that sound like Roche and Heidegger, heroes that sound like Tifa and Barrett, and random characters that sound like the Shinra soldiers when they have dialogue
