It's the 27th anniversary since the release of Parasite Eve. Squaresoft's first M-Rated JRPG, combining horror and Sci-Fi elements, based on and acting as a sequel to the novel of the same name by pharmacologist and author Hideaki Sena. Taking place in a mitochondria monster-infested New York City. Contrary to its sequel, the first game never got a European/PAL release.

It has been almost 20 years now that the last Shadow Hearts game has been released. None of the games are available through digital distribution. I find that so weird. Only played the second game in the franchise but enjoyed that one a whole lot. I hope that one day, it gets a rerelease.

"How can a game be open but linear??" Play Final Fantasy X-2 without a guide. Wash deeply in its sins. You will understand, my child. Great game, but it's "episode complete" system is a hellish nightmare...the good???? news is it requires 2+ playthroughs ANYWAY so it's possible to replay and fix your mistakes...maybe. It's...not worth it, btw. The game is good, plot aside, but attempt no landing at 100% FF X-2.
