Having new flowers on my balcony.
Thes are from a cutting I picked up at the park in Nice.

In Farsi, we call this Khar Zahre (poison of the donkey), I have no idea why. It's Oleander in English and it comes in different colors. We have them everywhere in south of France. Just like in the south of Iran where I was born.
Picked up a broken branch from the street last spring and put it into a pot.
It rooted and this year it's blooming. I really like it.
I want to do the same with the white and the red ones as well.
My donated #avocado tree is now over 2 years old.
Hopefully I will have a yard soon so I can grow it to be a full tree

This Swiss chard on my balcony planter is more than 2 years old.
I have harvested #leaves from it at least 9 times and it's time to cut more leaves again to make #vegetable #soup.
It is absolutely delicious & the highest ROI of my #balcony #garden. #SwissChard

Trying to sell my hydroponic system. Don't have the heart to take it down
It has
- 1 Jalapeno pepper
- 1 Habanero pepper
- 1 serrano pepper
&
- 1 flower
2x12L dutch bucket systems and a 40L water reservoir, with 2 timers, one for the light and one for the pump.
The 17W LED light is from discontinued IKEA Växer system.
It's now full of pepper flowers and fruits.

Cleaning up the balcony and found a bunch of #strawberries.

Another cutting from the street plants that is growing so well.
The roots inside the water reservoir of the 2L self watering unit are over 70cm long.
I'm thinking about keeping this one because I love the red color and it can get really big on the fence of our future house.
I have a small balcony and been growing various vegetables in pots and bags.
This year, I'm cutting back before selling the apartment later. So I just growing some leafy vegetables, leak, garlic and strawberries.
Sadly I've seen a lot of them disappear and I've been unable to find any snails or slugs until today when I picked up a few leaves from a lettuce to make sandwiches..
And theryit was, the little slug hidden between the leaves waiting to get hungry and eating up one of my last remaining lettuce.
I have no idea how to get rid of them.
Sunbeams on the aloe plant. This one used to live outside on the deck. I brought it inside for the winter, and it liked it in here so much, I let it stay. It's medicinal and decorative!
I have a few of these plants trying to give away.
As I'm going to sell the apartment and move before summer, been trying to clean up my plants and giving away or selling them.
It's not worth moving them because I maybe homeless for a time (going to rent for a time) and don't want to have anything that can be regrown.

I love my indoor hydroponic.
I just found out that it's not a cross pollination, but a different plant growing on the side of the #Serrano #pepper.
I believe it's from the seeds of peppers I bought at little Africa in #Paris many years ago. It's probably some kind of #habanero, but I'm not sure what.
I am worried it's going to be really hard to move them when I finally manage to buy a little house!

Well now, I know what I'm doing this weekend!
This looks like a lot of fun to make.
Removed the #mint from the #strawberry #planter because it was choking them and was amazed how long and deep the roots were in there. I think I removed all the roots, now going to plant it in a pot isolated from everything else with a plastic bottom to prevent it from spreading.
This is a plant that started a couple of month ago after the other cucumber plant died. I'm not sure if it's the same plant or the second seed I planted in there.
But it's getting bigger every day, now it is over 2m tall and has lots of flowers. And to my surprise, quiet a few cucumbers as well.
I just hope it stays alive and produces until my kids come for the visit during the holidays.

New baby pineapple plant, grown from the top of our first ever home-grown pineapple (which was very tasty). The hardest part about growing a pineapple where I live is figuring out where to put the plant in the house for the winter, because they get really big!
