#DomesticAbuse traps victims in cycles of fear—often because leaving means financial ruin.
#UniversalBasicIncome (#UBI) changes that, giving victims agency without bureaucratic hurdles.
No approvals, no means-testing—just freedom to leave NOW.
No more choosing between abuse and homelessness. UBI covers a bus ticket, a security deposit, food while rebuilding.
It won’t solve everything, but it’s a lifeline when every second counts.

Who is doing the giving is the question.
Particular risks of UBI imho are e.g. lulling people to sleep while AI destroys the entire jobs market, takes firm hold.. and poof.. UBI disappears again.
Another hypothetical: Using #UBI paid by tariffs to hide destruction of gov social support and installment of a fascist regime.
Related: Microfinancing was also broadly abused.
The #WealthGap isn’t just growing - it’s exploding. Wages stagnate while profits soar.
A few billionaires control more wealth than all the other people combined - and with that, billionaires control politics and who is in government!
#UBI doesn’t “punish success” - it ensures #everyone has a chance to succeed. Because no one should have to beg for basic survival in the richest era in history.

Además de ser un mecanismo redistributivo y de justicia social, la #RBU #UBI ayudaría a terminar con la burocracia de las ayudas, que parecen más centradas en poner obstáculos a quienes más lo necesitan que en resolver los problemas que dicen combatir.
UBI isn’t about making life “too easy.” It’s about making sure life isn’t unnecessarily cruel.
There are enough issues in the world today that we don't need to add financial insecurity to it.
Also, struggle isn’t noble. Suffering isn’t a character test. Fairness means giving everyone the chance to thrive, not just survive.
And you deserve that chance. You deserve #UBI
Spare us your slogans and catchphrases during this election. Too many people are suffering and struggling, and it's very real. We can and must do tangible things to help each other, and elect a government that will do the same.
