Sen #AmyKlobuchar said on CNN that #SCOTUS should hold #Trump admin ofcls in #contempt if they continue to ignore a court order to facilitate #KilmarAbregoGarcia’s return from #ElSalvador. Klobuchar said the court should appoint a special prosecutor, independent of Trump’s #DOJ, to uphold the rule of #law & charge ofcls who are responsible for Abrego Garcia’s wrongful #deportation, or have refused to facilitate his return. “We’re getting closer & closer to a #ConstitutionalCrisis,” she said.

Sen #DickDurbin, a #Democrat, & Sen #LindseyGraham, a #Republican, plan to introduce a bill that would set an expiration date of Jan 1, 2027, for #Section230, acc/to a congressional aide familiar…. The senators have wide support from their respective parties: #Republicans #JoshHawley & #MarshaBlackburn & #Democrats #SheldonWhitehouse & #AmyKlobuchar have agreed to co-sponsor the bill. 2 more Dems, #RichardBlumenthal & #PeterWelch, have discussed cosponsoring.

Nearly every time he is faced w/his own words #KashPatel feigned indignation & dismissed his statements as being taken out of “grotesque context.”

Sen #AmyKlobuchar spent several mins reading Patel’s own words back to him VERBATIM — including his proposal to shutter #FBI HQ & turn it into a museum for the ‘deep state.’ Patel repeated the refrain her quotation a “grotesque” mischaracterization. Other times he claimed not to remember his comments. “I am quoting his own words,” Klobuchar insisted.

Doesn't a request for appeal go to a court an get denied or approved by a judge?

Some things seem very wrong about this case, not the least of which is that the county attorney later became a current U.S. Senator and even a Presidential candidate.
