Working on my #aprsthursday WAS, 30 states down, 20 to go. Making zero progress so far today. :) It helps that the isn't any kind of serious award lol.

This week’s #APRSThursday net brought 426 check-ins including me in Portland.

There were 426 check-ins on yesterday's #APRSThursday net, which is the most since I started participating.

Checked into the #APRSThursday net from a park near my grandparents house this week. My checkin made it to the internet via a repeater in Walla Walla - about 80 km away from me in Kennewick using 4 watts on my handheld.

Last call for question ideas for my inaugural #HamTalk, a Fediverse discussion about #HamRadio / #AmateurRadio based on #BikeNite to bring together the ham radio community on Mastodon!

First question will roll out at 17:00 PDT Wednesday / 00:00 UTC Thursday to coincide with the #APRSThursday net.

I am going to host a #HamRadio discussion similar to #BikeNite where I will post questions over the course of an hour to drive engagement and conversation about the hobby in the Fediverse. I think I’m going to call it #HamTalk.

I plan to start posting questions at 17:00 PDT Wed July 26 (00:00 UTC July 27) to coincide with the start of the #APRSThursday net. If it turns out to be popular, I may do it weekly.
