I wear a thin cap under my helmet to avoid sunburn… no visor, but sometimes I wish I had one. All my various sunglasses are not really dark, suitable in overcast/foggy conditions. I wear them to protect my eyes from uv, which I was told long ago are a factor in cataracts. (Which I would rather not have). Water and snow are particularly bad for frying your eyes (I’ve spent many hours on the water).
