Solarbird :flag_cascadia:<p>Now I'm wondering if the antenna ground is the same as the headphone output ground because if it is I could make a way more modular (and hence better) version of this. Right now I'm screwing it to the frame same way as in the video. But having different ones I could plug in and unplug would be obviously way better.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.murkworks.net/tags/HamRadio" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>HamRadio</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.murkworks.net/tags/AmateurRadio" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>AmateurRadio</span></a> <a href="https://mastodon.murkworks.net/tags/KK7ZLU" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>KK7ZLU</span></a></p>
Solarbird :flag_cascadia:<p>Okay I _think_ I might've picked up a signal from the downtown Bothell repeater (WA7HJR) by doing this:</p><p><a href="https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ccJHdmSE7D4" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="">youtube.com/shorts/ccJHdmSE7D4</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p>I still don't think it's hearing me - it certainly wasn't responding to me - but after giving up I got a 10pm time announcement on the frequency along with some Morse?
