One of my favorite career trajectories is Colleen Fitzpatrick. She played Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray (1988), graduated from NYU in 1991 with a BA in English, and was then the lead singer of alternative band Eve's Plum in the #1990s (yes, named after actress Eve Plumb). Not being finished yet, her biggest moment in the spotlight was when she had a #popmusic #onehitwonder with "Graduation (Friends Forever)" under the name Vitamin C in 2000 (third single from a 1999 album). That was the song with Pachelbel's Canon in D played by strings in it. She continued to act, and is now a #music executive at Netflix, after being VP of Music at Nickelodeon. Not bad for a one hit wonder most people don't remember today.
