FWIW I think the best birthday present so far for my website was when I made it a birthday video 😆

It was 2011 & I'd just discovered that if you wanted to use the traditional "Happy birthday" song you had to pay someone for the rights, so I asked my pal to write & record a birthday song that I could use & tried green-screening for the first time.

A stealth account created on a social media platform for the purpose of following another account without revealing the true identity behind the follow. Pock Suppet accounts may have a photo of #boobs or other explicit material in the profile, depending on the marks’ perceived predilections. Pock Suppets usually have few followers themselves, and even fewer posts, though in the latter case it’s not from lack of passionately held opinions.

@georgelakoff 1) I’ve known how networked players work since I stumbled on the Russian #troll farm in 2014. I was following events in #Ukraine (#Maidan, the fleeing of the Pres, the new #democratic elections). I used a list of relevant keywords, plugged them into #tweetdeck. After my day was done in #SiliconValley, I’d browse. When workers arrived to the office in St Petersburg, I saw 100s of the same tweet come from 100s of #sockpuppet accounts simultaneously, flooding #Twitter.
