I can never get over how obnoxious this tax/tariff scam is, seeing stuff $135.00 (+$139.29 shipping).

The govt is gonna close this loophole up & these idiots will have effed it up for everyone. #smh

The #lnp and #murdock hate the #abc, alway have, hence the Trumpian promise to cut funding is no surprise. Maybe a rollback of media ownership would be a better path to bring some balance as cutting the ABC is a direct attack on liberal views in Australia.

The Sydney Morning Herald · Dutton tells ABC to show ‘excellence’ or he won’t ‘support the waste’By Olivia Ireland, Calum Jaspan, Natassia Chrysanthos, Matthew Knott

My 5-yr-old loves taking pictures and videos, so we let him have Mama's almost-20-year-old digital point-and-shoot.
He thinks using the flash is cool. Our dog, we've just learned, DOES NOT: dog started acting weird like there was gonna be bad weather, but it was just that he thought the flash was lightning.

“ I won't be gaslit over Trump. If you suck up to him, you will get more bullying — Malcolm Turnbull(The Sydney Morning Herald): I was not surprised to see the News Corp publications gleefully adopting Trump's abuse and claiming that I had “torpedoed” any hopes of securing an exemption from steel and aluminium tariffs. It has always been most unlikely that Australia will secure an exemption this time. It was hard enough in 2018 and all the signals from the administration are that the tariffs will be applied across the board.

And it perhaps never occurred to the team at News Corp's Holt Street HQ in Sydney that it is utterly bizarre that the unremarkable comments of a former prime minister would cause the US to decide not to exempt Australia from tariffs. Not a word of criticism of Trump, of course!

I was amused to reflect on the mental stress this episode was causing our friends at News Corp. Such a target-rich environment! They can blame me for the tariffs, or Kevin Rudd, or Anthony Albanese. Surely they can work out a formula where it's the fault of all three — but never, ever the fault of Donald Trump!”

At present, only 'abandoned' by US. EU is on the case, because they've seen all this shit before.

And of course, if the British so-called Labour Party manage successfully to destroy social care for everyone here, they'll have a few pounds to chip in as well. Of course they could have just taxed the rich and done some 'quantative easing' (printing money) to pay for rearmament like the UK did pre WWII. Which worked, and sparked the biggest improvement in Social Care in the UK ever.
