Anyone with experience on solar power security cameras with wi-fi? Looking at this one that has SD card and mobile app, cloud storage available but not required. We really want our front door area to have a good motion detection camera that works with a phone but no monthly service contract. We don’t want the cloud to store video. All the reviews are Spanish, French, German, etc so the link shared has information you may have to click for translate all reviews.

I’m not really wild about phone ISP alone or cloud services. We already have a monthly contract with wired cameras and Internet services. But we are needing one more camera. Thinking of buying time to set up our own system with 5 cameras but no cloud services, but that may take months to work out. Three nights in a row, precisely at 3:33 am, our security cameras have captured these swirling masses. It’s wasn’t snowing or raining, we don’t get gnats, and there’s nothing above or below the eave where the camera is.

I’m not saying this is paranormal, but we have no reasonable explanation for it. 3 nights in a row at 3:33?

I do not understand why #Nest #SecurityCamera footage is so bad. I understand that they want to keep storage requirements low, but 99% of the view does not change at all for hours, and all they should need to focus on is the places where there is movement.
