Propagation was okay, but I had to hang the antenna very low. This was the only spot in the proximity where I didn’t exceed the 100 feet rule for the trail (with it being entirely within the forest). I finally finished my #QMX build! Took ages to take the time and finish it but here it is. After some debugging and reworking some solder joints it seems to work!
I just tested it on a dummy load because I don't have a BNC to PL plug adapter. So no QSO for now.

For the non-hams, if you send "HIHI" .... .. .... .. in Morse code, it's shorthand for "LOL" or "laugh" or 
Didn't take part in #FieldDay2025 but with all the #FieldDay action spent time fine tuning my @buddipole Deluxe Antenna as a vertical. This reading for 30 meters. Had a nice visit from my West Buechel Police (3) Officers, 1 is a Tech ham, never worked FD. Made 1 #MorseCode CW #QSO to demonstrate #AmateurRadio #HamRadio
