The feather duster acts as an artificial mother, which gives the chicks comfort.

For his most recent birthday, my dad got an incubator to raise his own chickens from hatch to henhouse. He's been delighted with the results and having so much fun with his chickens. They keep him busy, and sometimes, the baby chicks keep us laughing... especially this first one with the grump arse glare.

Chimney service hatch rusted through. I did a temporary fix with some glass wool, but it obviously needs replacing.
Will need to find one. These are not the usual square cast iron ones you can find everywhere here, but wider (and flimsier).
Any tips?
#pyconus #hatch sounds like it can do a lot of things. It reminds me of multi-linters except it is a multi-common-build-tasks tool. (dependencies, packaging, plus other things) Like multi-linters, it farms out the work to 3rd party tools. Or a mildly opinionated build-anything tool.
I should try it out on a project to get better opinions
