It's been a few days since I did a "three good things" Toot, so I'll try one now, before starting my exercises at the gym...

:bear_guitar: Three Good Things :bear_dance:

1. Had some nice walks with Arwen, both the SniffiVerse™ ones and some to the Herperduin.
2. Been reading my new book and I'm really enjoying it. Loving this gift so much... :blahaj_heart:
3. Watched some "new" (to me) series and have been enjoying them, giving me some relaxation while I've been stressed due to the health bits and bops.
4. (sneaking one more in) the scale showed me weights below the 81 kg for two days now... (and 4 days below 82). It probably won't last, but it does feel good to not be at 82 anymore... 😊

@tldr 🤖 please do your thing for me here! 😁

I woke about half an hour before the alarm. I got up, and the scale was a wee bit kinder to me. Ow, nice... 😊 I got dressed, took my meds, prepped Arwen's food and let her out for a wee. She was happily eating when I got my bag and headed to Skoosh.

Caught up with social media while I was enjoying my protein shake (and while waiting for the meds to kick in). I got to the seated bike and rode for a bit. After 25 minutes I had to stop. When my leg was a bit better, I walked a short bit on the treadmill, just half a KM, but with a slight incline. I enjoyed a massage on the chair and then I headed back home again.

Washed up, had brekky, and got ready for walkies with Arwen. We had a nice walk and Arwen even rewarded me with a nice selfie. When we got back home, I changed clothes and headed to the hometrainer. I rode for half an hour. I finished my journal blog post and I started a new (to me) TV series on Netflix.

I watched "Totenfrau" a while and I fixed some food. Then Arwen wanted walkies again so we headed out again. When we got back, I changed clothes and walked half an hour on my treadmill. After that, I got the hoover and did the downstairs area. Then I got the mop out and I did the easy to reach bits with it. I was exhausted when I was done. But... I had done it! Yay me! 😁

I washed up, changed clothes, and then I tried to relax on the couch a bit. Arwen was annoying me for quite a while that she wanted out. But it was too early and I just needed a wee bit of rest before we'd be heading out again.

We had a nice walk and Arwen was lucky to see N&B again, as she scored some extra nomnoms. When we got back, I relaxed on the couch. I watched another series on Netflix, Stay Close, and I really liked it. So when that's done, I should get back to Totenfrau.

I fixed some food and then Arwen wanted walkies again. After which I got back to the couch as I felt so tired. Just when I was getting ready to head out with Arwen, I just texted N, my phone rang with an unknown number. I hesitantly answered, as I wasn't expecting the hospital for another 90 minutes. But it was the surgeon! There was no infection, we could schedule the surgery, the waiting in list was about 2 months... Ah ok... Anxiety over the call went, anxiety over the surgery began! 😂

We had a good walk with N&B. Then some relaxing until it was time for a last wee for Arwen. I was so tired... Went to bed and it didn't take too long to fall asleep. I got my eBook and didn't even get to read from it! I was exhausted...

Woke once for the loo and then again, half an hour before the alarm. So I got up and started my new day...

@tldr 🤖 please do your thing for me!

I woke before the alarm. I started with my usual routine, scale, meds, and Arwen. When Arwen was happily eating, I got my bag and headed towards the gym.

While driving there, and needing to take the diversion because one street is under construction, I was wondering if there was a shorter way to get passed it. So at the gym, I checked the maps and saw something that should be way shorter and easier. Let's try that on the way back!

I checked social media and when the meds had kicked in, I went to the seated bike. Did my thing for a while, and then my leg started tingling again... Tried the crosstrainer for 5 minutes. Then I headed to the massage chair. Switched my shoes, and headed back home.

The other route I had found was indeed a lot better! So I know what I'll be driving the next few weeks... 😊 Washed up, changed clothes, had brekky, and then Arwen and I went for walkies.

The weather was a bit chilly, but it was dry. I wrote a bit for Masto and my blog, and then I warmed my hands while watching some Cold Case again. We had the medium walkies, and Arwen seemed to have a good time.

We got back home, I switched clothes, and headed to the hometrainer. I managed to get an hour in on the lower settings. So that was a good thing. I did some reps with the abs-roller and dumbbells. Then, back down switching clothes again, and I fixed some food.

Then we headed out for walkies. Arwen was able to do her thing and then she saw the neighbor, so she was a happy gall.

I watched some telly for a bit. Then, Arwen started to annoy me for more walkies, but it was still too early. So I got her brush and I tried to take out some dead fur first. She never likes it, but well, so much hair! And I still hadn't covered everything!

We went for walkies and Arwen was lucky, as she spotted her friend again! And this time, there were nomnoms. 😂 We got back home, I relaxed a bit, and then I fixed food for Arwen. A quick wee before I had to go.

I had to go a bit earlier as I wanted to shower Skoosh. But... An accident had happened and the roads in our area were nuts because of it... The drive to Cuijk was crazy, so many trucks there! Wow!

I gave Skoosh a decent rinse and then I went to the PT. We had a good session, a bit painful, but it did give some relief! Maps gave me a different route back home, and I guess I wasn't the only one who got that. It was so busy again! But at least, we were moving, which was better than being stuck in long traffic jams.

When I was close to home, I turned off the navigation. So of course the route I usually take was... Closed! And they didn't warn until the start of the street... So that was fun! Nope... I just wanted to get back home... Ugh. Crazy day!!

I went to the loo, and then I got ready for walkies. Arwen had a good time with N&B, with nomnoms and some water fun (though no big splashes, fortunately!).

When we got back, we had another bit of relaxing and then I got ready to head to bed. I was rather tired. It didn't take too long to fall asleep. I woke twice for the loo, and then when my alarm woke me. Had one weird dream, but nothing too bad... 😊

Let's start a new day! It's the third Monday now, right? 😉

Finished!

Pattern is Shard by Romi Hill
Yarn is 2024's valentines colour from ChemKnits

Honestly, it would have been a lot easier if I'd chosen a yarn with higher contrast between the sections (I missed the colour change and had to go back a number of times) but the end result works! Lots of short rows and an interesting construction. Very fun to knit other than having to watch the colours!

This one ticked the "something new" box for my #FiberGoals as I hadn't tried assigned pooling before!
