Decision time for me this week as I am now finished season 7 is of #TheComfortableSpot #podcast, I've decided to consolidate my social media platforms. Definitely gone are my private and business #Twitter accounts. It's such an unbelievable sesspit of anger, hate, and abuse that for my own mental health, I have decided to close it all down. I'm keeping my #Blusky as I want to develop my presence there for my podcasting but I'm closing my podcast accounts on #Instagram and #Threads. 1)

So here is a question. Now that Bluesky is using this fancy OpenAI and Google AI thing, does all your #Blusky content now get poured into the Google and OpenAI LLM training models? Does Google get to use it to profile your private data for ads and all manner of evil stuff?

What about Fediverse content bridged over to Bluesky?

Liegt wahrscheinlich an meiner eher Open-Source orientierten Bubble. :)

We need to be asking from the moment #FelonMan takes office about where the lower prices are, where’s the border wall, where’s everything he promised? We need to ask these questions EVERY SINGLE DAY. If you have a #BluSky account, put these questions out there!

Does ANYone have an in with the #Harris campaign, to nudge them again about getting on #Blusky and Mastodon? Twitter is the wrong place to be organizing, and we've raised over $425k here on Masto in just over a week.

The journos need to get off of there, the government agencies do, and everyone running for anything needs to be in better spots.

C'mon people, we're engaged, engage with us!

One more mention for anyone interested in tiptoeing into #BlueSky

I currently have 5 codes if anyone wants to try it out. As I've mentioned previously, it is more Twitter-like, but the top accounts have been used to being in a closed system and mostly just talk to each other which is... weird.

Not bad for real, unfolding American news. Otherwise, eh.

Welp. Looking around for 2nd time on #BluSky, just curious. I remain underwhelmed. There is a third-party access now for desktop (deck[dot]blue), which is at least easier to see. Searched for #Mastodon and read 100% critical posts. 🤷‍♀️
SEVERAL: "it's so counterintuitive!"
ME: "Dudes, have you actually looked at this Blusky app??"

Ah well. I have some invite codes if anyone else is curious. I might be just plain too lazy to explore more. 🤨
