With my perpetual smile, elegant prance, fine features, and sleek golden coat, I'm sure to become a neighborhood icon in no time.

I even have good manners to go with my good looks. I'm house-trained, know how to sit, and am easy to leash. My foster mom even trusts me to be out in the house when she leaves for a while. I sometimes bark when meeting new people, but it doesn't take long for me to warm up to them.

I came to PACC when someone found me nursing my seven little pups under their trailer. Since then, I've been raising my pups in a loving foster home. But my pups are about ready to go on their own life adventures, and I'm looking forward to being a "puppy" (without the chewing and peeing in the house and boundless energy parts) in a new family instead of being mama all the time.

Morgan is looking for a savvy family who is willing to put in the time and devotion that a fearful dog needs. He needs a family who will not rush him to cuddle or be handled right away but will allow him to decompress from the stress of the shelter in a secure environment and open up in his own time. Morgan has shown us that he truly wants to love and be loved, he just needs a family committed to taking things slow.

Merle has shared his kennel politely in the shelter and has been tolerant and independent when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’s looking for a compassionate, gentle family who will give him time to decompress in a stable home and let him continue to blossom! Merle is SO WORTH IT; come meet him today!

He's getting more and more comfortable with respectful touch. He is a fun boy; he will play ball with me in the play yard and I can tell that once he gets into a home he will open up and show what a wonderful pup he can be!”

He came in with a number of other dogs, undersocialized and fearful. He is definitely opening up and will wag his tail in a friendly manner when volunteers approach his kennel to leash him up...

Indy lived in a home for three years before being surrendered to the shelter. She was reportedly house and crate trained and her former family described her as affectionate, playful, and always by your side:

Mudders got his name when he was found at someone’s workplace, you guessed it… covered in mud! This kind person cared for him for a couple of months before bringing him to the shelter and had SO MANY great things to share! They learned that Mudders was good with small and large dogs, uses a doggy door, and is an affectionate, independent and playful pup who likes car rides. They described him as a goofy character!
