ICYMI I wrote about getting away from Microsoft products for @damagecontrolblog. It started with a desire not to be sucked into their push for subscription services several years ago. Now I'm glad, as Microsoft has gotten worse over the years as a company.

I cancelled my #battlefield6: Phantom Edition preorder. #EA wouldn’t let me link my #XBox account to my EA account because it had been previously linked to an old Xbox account years ago and they won’t allow me to relink.

I then spent the entirety of the day trying to get in a chat with their customer support, but I couldn’t ever get in to them and the wait time kept climbing.

I’m tired of this BS and EA’s stupid policy. They don’t want my money, apparently.

Looks like I’ll be going with #CallofDuty #BlackOps7 and #Helldivers2 this summer/autumn instead. I’m not going to jump through any more hoops.

This will serve as a reminder that Microsoft and Xbox, specifically, are on the BDS list!

Zooparasite is a first person survival horror game coming to PC & consoles this Friday the 8th where apparently you're an agent that's been assigned to investigate toxic sewers below the city (with no weapons, just a flashlight)- and you need to outsmart grotesque mutated creatures to do so.
