C’est le troisième livre de Martin Hench, mais le premier d’un point de vue chronologique. On découvre comment Marty adolescent est devenu comptable consultant. C’est du Cory Doctorow tout craché : on y retrouve ses centres d’intérêt dans une histoire qui se passe au début de l’informatique grand public. Ayant été ado à cette époque, ce bouquin était tout à fait pour moi. Je l’ai dévoré, et j’en réclame encore

KarinComme Zaclys va fermer son Mastodon, je cherche une alternative francophone, généraliste... J'ai regardé un peu côté mastouille, pialle etc et je n'arrive pas à trouver d'indication sur la longueur des toots. Virgile AndreaniJe n'ai jamais été autant intéressé par un livre qui donne autant envie de dormir ! Écrit par un chercheur spécialiste du sommeil, c'est une vraie revue scientifique sur le sujet, qui reste néanmoins très accessible. Après avoir décrit les mécanismes et fonctions du sommeil, il explique à quel point les gens en manquent et comment y remédier, notamment par la sieste qu'il assimile à un véritable hôpital de campagne capable de soigner les effets de ce manque. C'est un livre marquant et ambigu qui explore le parcours de Shevek, un scientifique né sur Anarres, une lune d'Urras, où s'est développée dans un monde aride une utopie anarchiste séparée d'Urras il y a 170 ans.
