Ro is taking the stance that these screenshots I took of Kaliya's Twitter account are fake.
This sort of disgusting transphobia is why it's important for instances who care about queer safety to consider a #fediblock for all #thebadspace contributor instances.
On three separate occasions, Ro has fantasized about murdering queer people of colour with baseball bats.
In the United States and Canada, "a baseball bat to the face" is synonymous with anti-queer violence. The concepts are so impossible to separate here, that homophobic murders are literally referred to as "gay bashing".
When you defend #TheBadSpace, you are defending some of the most mask-off queerphobia imaginable.
This is just so wildly bad faith.
#TheBadSpace is not a neutral tool. It is repeatedly used to target, harass, and stalk queer people for being queer.
Ro himself has repeatedly, openly fantasized about doing gay-bashing - generally towards queer people of colour.
If people genuinely wanted to use blocklists to fight bigotry, they wouldn't be rallying behind the one ran by one of the most blatantly transphobic people on fedi.
@shlee I do hope @iftas took the correct lessions from the whole #TheBadSpace shitshow and excels in #transparebcy and #accountability...
for those curious, a lot of it had to do with my general opposition to #thebadspace people and how they (over)do things.

Black person here. Another white poster commented on the "they don't see it thing..."
And as I have seen, I generally *agree* with them.
I want Black folks to participate here more, and I'm quite sure the problem isn't the "racism," it's the obscurity.
I'm not saying the racists don't exist, but some of the loudest black voices here are also the damn snowflakiest. See e.g. the #thebadspace people. They DO NOT rep me.
