My favorite animal to ski like was preying mantis, which got us leaning forward and shifting our balance from ski to ski by aiming our hands where we want to go, but the kid favorite was birds. We all agreed flailing our limbs around like we decided an octopus to do was ineffective. Opinions were split on hopping like a bunny.

How lucky am I that I still get to do this? Year 34.
