So I've been selling CDs on Discogs for a pretty long time now, but I just recently got around to listing a lot of vinyl, too. My first vinyl sale was one that I kind of hated to part with (Bobby Hebb - Sunny LP, 1966), but I hope I have a happy customer.

If you're interested in physical media, I hope you'll check out my little shop (link in profile).

Here's a fantastic live performance of Sunny for your viewing pleasure:

50 disco classics to get your feet moving, no.10

The Hues Corporation. Rock the Boat

This proto-disco classic is a great example of the bridge between up-tempo soul & the emergence of disco in the mid-70s. Its a great soulful song, driven by a lush early disco rhythm section & great strings, which while not a Philadelphia International production has parallels to that sound. Its also got great lyrics & remans a sing-along floorfiller. Just great!
