This new German party is "hard left" only by name. This Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance is more of a red-brown party with a rancid nostalgic mindset of Germany's 70s, when everything was in order and white industry workers were the unchallenged subjects and the world was an easy place without all this climate and woke stuff.
Good: they draw votes from the openly fascist AfD. And the German Left Party "Die Linke" they split off from got finally rid of these people.
Bad: their racists, backwards discourse might permeate the minds of older social democrats. And the last thing we needed was a right-wing workers party.
